Thanks, yeah we love it. After having so many dramas with lwp changing render and brick colours - everything has turned out really nicely

Went to visit the house over the weekend and was very disappointed

Not much work had been done since the week before, floor tiles still piled up in the kitchen. Only change was shower screens installed and pavers delivered. I feel like our latest updates have been misleading, so questioned client liaison and she told me that tiler has been delayed quite a bit and won't start work til Wednesday (hmm lucky I ended up asking). That in turn delays the carpet, blinds and paint finals.

Just wanted these next couple weeks to go quick but seems we're held back

Getting a bit anxious now....it's looking like we won't be in til sometime after mid march

After a 2 week delay, the tilers have finally commenced work! Tiles still need grouting but happy to see them working on Saturday to finish them off.
I'm so in love with them. Can't wait til they are all cleaned up and sparkling!

In other news, carpets and blinds due Tuesday. Pavers to front and alfresco are being prepared, so should be in soon. I'm hoping to find out pre handover date sometime this week! Having a date is just going to take the stress off everything at the moment, so fingers crossed.

PRE HAND OVER INSPECTION 5TH OF MARCH AT 7:30AM (can you tell I'm keen?!)

I am so relieved we have been given a date and can now start sorting out our rental arrangements. I am feeling a little overwhelmed now, yet excited...there's still so much to do and lots of packing!
Can't believe it's so close.

Not sure if you are aware or not, but there is a meet up for residents of Annie's Landing at the playground at 2pm on Sunday 22nd March.

Yeah, I've been following the Annie's Landing page on facebook

It's such a great idea! Ooh we will be lucky if we are in before the 22nd March, I'm estimating around the 24th. Either way, we are still planning to go. I just love that park!

I heard the toilets and bbqs are now in? So many people are moving in on our street now, it's exciting knowing we'll be in soon.

Arrived at our house today for our 7:30am appointment to find our site hadn't even been cleaned!
Very disappointing to see but obviously it's going to be done asap. Everything else in the house was fine, i'm so in love with our kitchen. We did notice that the gas wasn't working on the stove top....which should have been done. So I'm hoping they get onto that! Also our garage door still hasn't been installed but is due for the 10th of march. Apart from that, there are only minor touch ups to be completed.

As we are lending through keystart it's probably going to be a 7 working day wait til the final payment is made. So I'm expecting we will have keys by the 23rd March - if not sooner.

Woohoo, that's super exciting. You'll be able to move on over the Easter long weekend at least, if not sooner, awesome stuff! Glad to see there wasn't too many issues at all and only a few things left to do

still waiting for keys though. Was told either tomorrow or Monday and we haven't heard anything more so doubt it'll be tomorrow

still have to finish floors, painting and blinds so move in isn't happening until 21st of March. Still so close

I haven't been on here in a while. Still getting Internet up and running.
We got our keys on 18th of March and moved in that weekend! We still have so much to do and it's proving hard with a 2 year old. Have painted half the house and our brick wall has gone up - just waitin for them to finish the render - which seems to be taking a while :/
How long did it take for them to complete everything?

Loving the house though! Its a lot bigger than what we expected, so still getting use to the size haha. Can't wait til landscaping begins and we can sort put our back yard.

How are you settling in?

We're due for handover in 4 weeks and I contacted both the fencing (both companies as we're on a corner block) & landscaping around mid/late March and haven't gotten anything back yet and it's now mid May! It seems to be an excessively long wait, I'm wondering if this is pretty standard?

My house is on a corner block as well and I contacted Surburban Street Scapes and unfortunately the wait is standard. When I moved in half of my wall was done, then a week later they finished it. A month delay. Then took 2 weeks to render my wall. Still waiting for them to finish painting it! Apparently workers were on holiday and then they were short staffed and I had an old guy rendering my wall so he took longer than usual.

I contacted my landscapers before handover and got a response straight away. They usually take bout a week to draw up a design. But they can't book you in until your in the house and have all your fencing up. Now that our rendering is done, I've booked my landscape job in so hopefully they'll start doing that soon
