Thanks Re: Grey Gum Estate Kellyville 462Aug 28, 2014 11:03 am Hi all, in case you have not received Sohel's email, a few of us are meeting to discuss and coordinate a plan for getting some momentum regarding objections to the apartments. We are meeting at the Mean Fiddler for dinner tonight, Thursday 28th August, at 7:30pm. I will be wearing a green jumper, and will reserve a large table. Looking forward to putting our heads together on this! Re: Grey Gum Estate Kellyville 464Aug 28, 2014 11:09 am I unfortunately will not be able to attend due to other commitments although would love to see a meeting outcome posted or emailed. Can I also suggest for tonight's agenda to discuss a proposal for council to fix the entry with a park etc. That would be great. Thanks M Re: Grey Gum Estate Kellyville 468Aug 28, 2014 1:11 pm My husband and I will be attending tonight. Yes if we can add to our fight the Applegum one as well that is for a 2 x 5 storey high complex! Re: Grey Gum Estate Kellyville 469Aug 28, 2014 4:24 pm Hi all. I will do my best to attend tonight and have passed this information on to a few people I have met in Caladenia Way. It sounds like a few cant make it tonight, so is it possible we have a follow up meeting at the estate on Sunday maybe around lunchtime of something. From reading the posts it seems we dont have a lot of time. I agree with mystro, the petition or whatever should include all applications on both sides of the estate. I also agree we should hit the council up up for the entrance to the estate being a park with swings etc for the kids. Re: Grey Gum Estate Kellyville 472Aug 30, 2014 8:36 am Is everyone on this forum on our email list? If not, please send your email addresses through as we have some important correspondence going out today. Please sign the petition against grey gum high-rises: http://www.gopetition.com/petitions/sto ... rises.html If you can share this with all of your networks, email, Facebook, etc that would be much appreciated. On Sunday we are meeting at 2pm, then doing a door knock in the area to obtain more signatures on the petitions. Bring an iPad along to get signatures on the spot. Re: Grey Gum Estate Kellyville 474Sep 16, 2014 10:40 am Hi all, Is anyone installing a pivot door ? According to my builder because of the BAL rating it doesn't comply as it doesn't seal correctly. Seems like a lie to me Re: Grey Gum Estate Kellyville 475Sep 16, 2014 11:02 am We are installing a pivot door but out bal is 12.5 I've heard the same for Bal 19 and 40 Re: Grey Gum Estate Kellyville 478Sep 16, 2014 12:29 pm All good. Checked the Australian Standard and there is no issue AS3595 2009. My builder ordered the wrong door as hinged and trying to tell me that I can't have a pivot. Re: Grey Gum Estate Kellyville 479Sep 24, 2014 3:19 pm Hi all, Does anyone know what a partially screen door is (this is for the external front door)? My builder has given me this option since my home is BAL 29? Thanks Re: Grey Gum Estate Kellyville 480Sep 24, 2014 7:26 pm Sounds like it will have solid panels in it, not just mesh.
