thanks dee, its funny coz when he was picking them I hated some of his choices we had so many disagreements . but they all came together really well . god knows what the house would of looked like if I chose the selections .

hi everyone , just wondering if anyone has any numbers of people that do exposed agg . also has anyone had coloured concrete put done . our estate will only let us have coloured concrete and not the normal grey . thanks in advance

Hi Melsie, I'm getting my driveway done by Gliani Concrete. Try contacting Jim at jim@glianiconcrete. He quoted $85/m for exposed agg or $60 for coloured concrete

Is that smooth underfoot and how much a suare metre did it cost and is that sealed

It's not honed Melsie so it is rough but you can walk on it bare foot without it cutting you haha and yep it is acid washed and sealed

I think it was $90 a sqm.

thanks wildwood . where getting so close ,I getting a bit stressed on the last little things for the house.a bit overwhelming to know we might not have afinished inside and outside house . I know that sometimes we have to wait . I will get there. not really a good day for me today . It really got me thinking about what I really have .and what is truly importantant . and that's family . my mum went to hospital ,she got up and couldn't walk .We thought she had another stroke . but the docters said that its her arthritis . she still can not walk and im really scared that she might never walk again. sorry I know this is a building forum .

Oh Melsie, I'm so sorry to hear that! I hope she makes a full recovery. It certainly puts things into perspective, I've had a bad week, but then I hear something like that and it makes me realise I have nothing to be whinging about!! take care xxx

Gosh Melsie68, I'm so sorry to hear about your dear Mum. Honestly, your health, and that of your loved ones is all that really matters in the end. Hoping your Mum makes a total and quick recovery. She will be in good hands, and I hope with all my heart that in the next few days you can let us all know that she is doing well.

Hi everyone, I thought I would let you know that mums getting up walking with a frame . Doc said that her imjection that she has for arthrities made her imunity low ,ehich some how made her get an infection .so hopefully she will be able to walk like before . It may take some time though.
We will be getting keys on thurs .fingers crossed. Blinds hopefully going in next week and alarm .we have booked our tiler in and have choosen exposed agg which should be layed next week. We didnt relize that we have to apply to the shire to approve the crossover so it may not go down.very nerves.about it all .i just what things done well . In the past.iv paid for things and been disapointed . I could never be a ss lol

So today was shopping day ya .for bedding. I dont think I relized how expensive it would be everythingx 7 and then double that lol. On t a down side some how we left I pad in trolley while loading car and forgot.it . :-(

I fell so stupid. It has all my.photos of my house but lucky I have the good.one on photo bucket. Thankgod I dont tend to take kids.photos.on it . But to know someone out there.has my ipad and all my photos . It really sux.i guess one of those things .but still really sux . Noticed also that there is a leak behind my tiles behind wall of spa,.noticed that plaster.in bed2 that backs on from ensuite. I.think.they know about.it coz they have removed tile. I just hope I dont have a on going issue later.on . walls already been sealed so hopeing that it will be sealed again .feeling.like its so close but so far..
