Anyone building at Eden Grange Riverstone?

Great to see people are still buying in the estate!

- Don't pay for NBN installation, most stage 1 and 2's are getting it for free

- Confirm where the sewer pipe is on the block, our sales person didn't tell us anything. This can affect where you can place your house and will also affect where your alfresco area goes if you're getting one

- Find out if you need to pay for Sydney Water to survey your block, that was another 1400 surprise to us

Hi oliverseiden,

the $1,400 should not have been charged as far as you signed Fixed price Contract.

Just have a word with them.

I agree. It is part of the fixed price contract.

Sorry all
Maybe it's my wording she wants 70 houses built which I think is all looking at the plans for stage 1 is all of us ! She said time can be made up on construction and I said as long as time being made up does not compromise on quality ;-)

Let's all think positive and not negative ;-)

All is gonna work out and we will be having a xmas street party . Me and the Mrs have been waiting 2 years now so we are nearer than then ;-)

Thanks for the info Paul. It must have been the day for conversations with Bev. My husband rang and spoke with her today, but he had a very heated conversation with her. We received a PCV from our CSA this morning advising of structural changes that have been made by EBH due to a sewer cap being too close to the house. They have had to take the wall to bed 4 in by 600mm so it is no longer a straight line from front to back, and then they have taken the back wall out by 800mm making the room jut out at the back. Where we had straight side and rear we now have this room that cuts in at the side and sticks out at the back. They have had to change the position of the walk in robe, move the window from the rear to the side and change the orientation of the room. There was also changes to the position of the water tank and air conditioning unit. My husband called EBH to discuss the matter, speaking with Bev. In the end, the only solution they have to make our house flush across the rear, is to extend the games room and alfresco by 300mm but bring bed 4 in by 280mm. We lose space in the bedroom but gain it in the alfresco and kids games room. Not sure what to do...

Make sure house area is more than 232 sqm for 25 sq while signing floor-plan again..... I have lost 3.25sqm in changes of facade & redrawing floorplan.

Hey all
I came close to buying at Eden grange I think it was late 2012 but didn't get the land we wante

I ended buying at the avenue by mirvac as I was checking on progress today of
My site I thought I might drive past riverstone to see how the development turned out and was shocked to see it pretty much completed but no homes built yet
Been reading the post and just hope everything gets sorted and your homes can start being built
Keep up the pressure on EBH

When are you expecting registration to occur and when do you think you will start building? The Avenue seems to be coming along very quickly.

Well registration was ment to be in November but is now ment to be registered late this month
Mirvac has already started building there homes so that's a good start
Seems like EBH should stick to building just homes this is there first development

Actually it's not the first development of its kind for EBH. I can think of at least another 10 EBH developments just in the north west.

Good luck with your build! You made a good choice in Mirvac! Never seen a crap development by them.

any changes, suggestions, etc

1. Who should this letter be addressed to? Do we have a name and the position?
2. Is it too strong in ants hale or form?
3. Can any of the words / elements be contested to divert from the core issue?
