I was told that my plans hadn't been submitted yet as they are still trying to work out some contouring issues with the cut and fill they are having to do on the estate. So no real progress in that department, however, I did have a win in getting the cost of the NBN being recredited in a PCV. So, a big thank you to you guys on here. Would never have known or pushed the issue if it wasn't for the info that you guys have given me. Have also completed the fencing questionnaire. Thanks for organising that. Have a good weekend everyone. Re: Anyone building at Eden Grange Riverstone? 606Jan 24, 2014 9:48 pm Lot33 Hi All, Received a reply from EBH this afternoon to my cranky one I sent yesterday. Have a good weekend everyone. Evening all, Lisa, our plans haven't been sent to council either, although not sure as to why. I would assume it would be for the same reason as you received. I emailed my CSA today about the NBN credit and it was discovered that the NBN provision was never included in our contract. It has now been added via a PCV. However, I have been charged $675 by HSI so I have to chase them up for a credit. I sent Malinda an email this afternoon and now have to wait for a reply. I hope you all have a great Australia Day weekend. Re: Anyone building at Eden Grange Riverstone? 607Jan 24, 2014 9:55 pm Some further work is taking place in Horizon and mcculloch St. Did anyone notice the painted lot numbers and markings on Sandringham st? Survey and contour plans conducted in Nov 2013 according to "eden brae connect". Re: Anyone building at Eden Grange Riverstone? 608Jan 24, 2014 9:59 pm paul-jo Hi All hope all are well , done the fence bit on here , plus if it helps got a PCV today for NBN pre-wiring etc etc and due to the fact i informed EBH that i knew some of my neighbours had this included i have it at no cost . So all for one and one for all (the musketeers lol) they can not charge some and not others , hope that helps I also spoke to them with regards my drawings etc apparently my contours had to be changed and the pool addition is taking longer for mine to go to council. Was informed even tho submitted nothing can be done until land registered Hey we are another step closer . Have a great weekend all , next Australia day seems like an excuse for a street party to me Take care Paul and jo Street party is on. Where is our chief events officer? I'm building Hawthorne 20 on Lot 31:) Hi Feather8 and welcome to our little community We are building next door at lot 32. Wow that's great. I am very appreciative of info in regard to NBN and quoted $675 too. I had decided against it deciding it as something to consider later. I have also emailed Malinda for clarification why it was not a standard inclusion. Will let you know reply. I like timber fencing but agree colorbond will be best way to go. I am under the impression that colour can be be chosen on either side? Re: Anyone building at Eden Grange Riverstone? 613Jan 27, 2014 9:07 am Hi There Just found all of you guys on here. We are building a Manchester on Lot 123. Any neighbours on here yet? By the way did your land get registered when EB indicated it would? Cheers Re: Anyone building at Eden Grange Riverstone? 614Jan 27, 2014 12:16 pm Hi All, Hope everyone is having a wonderful Australia Day long weekend Welcome to the new neighbours. I am in the same boat as most of you, Plans still to be submitted to council. In regards to NBN i am still waiting for a reply, My CSA takes ages to give a reply. Did a drive past the land yesterday, fencing around lot 59 partially complete, and some cabling work still happening around the corner of McCulloch and cranbourn st. Noticed mounts for street lights on mcculloch street, looks like more work to be done.... By the way did your land get registered when EB indicated it would? Cheers Hi Ali830, Welcome to eden grange. We are hoping (the stage 1) registration is not far, but the date is unknown. I was expecting the registration to take place late last year (Nov). Cheers Hi Ali830, Welcome Most people on this forum are Stage 1 registration. There is only one other stage 2 person so far. Hoping that will change soon with stage 2 nearly sold out and we can start locating our neighbours too! You must be building on the other side of the street from us I am curious: What is the timeline you have been given for land registration? We were told September 2014 for stage 2 however, Stage 1 has been delayed. Thanks Re: Anyone building at Eden Grange Riverstone? 618Jan 27, 2014 5:09 pm Hi everyone & welcome to the new neighbours that have joined us. Been away for the long weekend and just catching up on the gossip! Lol Can I ask those of you who are using Eden Brae connect... Is yours up to date? The graph bar on the home page on mine is still just past the tender stage...and also how are you finding out if your plans have been submitted to council? Is that just from contacting your CSA? Hope all had a great Aussie day weekend! Re: Anyone building at Eden Grange Riverstone? 619Jan 27, 2014 6:16 pm Shellstar76 Hi everyone & welcome to the new neighbours that have joined us. Hope all had a great Aussie day weekend! We found-out from CSA and then followed up with the council. Yes, our eden brae connect records are up to date. Currently in Pre-site stage: The progress bar is in between permit ordered and permit received. I plan to get in touch with the council during this week. Re: Anyone building at Eden Grange Riverstone? 620Jan 27, 2014 6:20 pm Hi all, We are currently looking for land in Schofields/Riverstone area. Can someone share the reasons why they opted for this land ? We are a small family of 4. Even though Riverstone is an upcoming area, I feel that the surrounding old tin houses may keep the prices low. That's my thinking and could be flawed. :/ Any more land available in this estate ? We spent close to 2 years in a process with TA. It was horrible..... we got to tender, and the first cut was 50% over our budget which "they care such about meeting ".
