Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Building in Aston Craigieburn 505Nov 13, 2013 7:18 pm Hey ES... congrats. We'll be seeing you soon !! We need some people it's a bit quiet up here. Just us and the K's !! We went with iiNET. No probs so far. The NBN is fantastic compared to regular ADSL. Log onto their website and check their plans. There's pretty much one for any budget. You may want to book your install ASAP though as it takes a while for a NBN technician to hook you up. hey hsv... don't despair. We got undervalued by a similar amount. Basically any upgrade you make means nothing in the bank's eyes. Re: Building in Aston Craigieburn 507Nov 13, 2013 7:51 pm You guys must have been hiding lol I put one post up and now the forum is on fire d4mmo you must be excited hope everything goes well and quick. For nbn I was told as soon as we know handover date to book asap for few days just after hand over. Don't know why I asked that question as our completion should be in june/july next year hehehehe. Hope everything goes well on Friday eptyspace:) Undervalue is a pr..k I knew it would happen but wasn't expecting that much so we are doing another valuation just to see what it gets up to should be all fine tho but the main thing that I don't get was 2 months ago our land got undervalued by 10k and now its valued at purchase price which just means the valuations are hit and miss as no land would gain 10k in 2 months. Good news from the mail I got is that all stages including ours is on track to be titled so yay for that. Re: Building in Aston Craigieburn 508Nov 13, 2013 8:09 pm Sorry to hear about the undervalue hsv2ko, I know we have had huge issues with undervaluing in the past. D4mmo that is fantastic news about this Friday, let's hope the weather does hold out man is it muddy out there. I nearly went for a sixer tonight which was pretty funny. ES you must be estatic about moving in, we are on final countdown until Feb. Our plasterers had been allocated two weeks to do the job and it was finished in 4 days. Incredible! We have had our laundry door stolen and the glass is incorrect in our ensure, which I am hoping to get sorted. We met our neighbours who have bought the block to the right of us on Friday who are yet to start building. A lovely couple. I love going to check out the house pretty much every night after work. Buying ridiculous amounts of furniture. BRING ON FEB is all I have to say!!! Re: Building in Aston Craigieburn 509Nov 13, 2013 9:24 pm Hey sam.. The theft is common. We had our vegie sprayer/tap lifted 3 days before we moved in. I've heard other stories too good to hear of your progress. Was looking at your house a few days ago. It's huge !! 2 Re: Building in Aston Craigieburn 510Nov 13, 2013 9:26 pm it looks like someone is building a house in Aston real cheap way (stealing stuff from everyone house), lol. may be he/she is also a homeone member Re: Building in Aston Craigieburn 511Nov 14, 2013 8:35 am Hey Aston Boy, web have built another house in the past and saw it at plastered stage and it looked tiny. Seeing this house all plastered up it looks ginormous! Does anyone have the phone number of a reliable cleaner lol? Actually we may need one now, the tradies have food packets everywhere and our nature strip seems to have become a dumping ground for all the new residents that have moved in. I so love being able to call in after work tho, can imagine myself cooking dinner in a beautiful kitchen, taking dogs for a walk sticky beaking on everyone's builds. Ahhhhhj Re: Building in Aston Craigieburn 512Nov 14, 2013 8:36 am mirz it looks like someone is building a house in Aston real cheap way (stealing stuff from everyone house), lol. may be he/she is also a homeone member Haha maybe he/she is just cleaver lol Re: Building in Aston Craigieburn 514Nov 14, 2013 8:39 am Yeah they are highly filthy Sam... I got sick of picking up coffee cups after we moved in. Sometimes I'd like to get their respective addresses and dump the mess on their doorstep. Also when you move in you only get what's called a "builders clean" ... as our SS told us. Don't expect it to be like mum's clean. Lucky you're not walking your dogs ATM. They'd get bogged !! Re: Building in Aston Craigieburn 515Nov 14, 2013 8:40 am Sambogirl81 mirz it looks like someone is building a house in Aston real cheap way (stealing stuff from everyone house), lol. may be he/she is also a homeone member Haha maybe he/she is just cleaver lol Maybe we could take a cleaver to them? Re: Building in Aston Craigieburn 516Nov 14, 2013 8:44 am Haha the sad thing is I could imagine the both of them enjoying being bogged, we have a rotti and a very fluffy German shepherd whom loves being wet and muddy. Aston will be heaven on earth for her. But my nightmare I am thinking Building in Aston Craigieburn 517Nov 14, 2013 2:28 pm Keep them in house for those burglars to learn a life time lesson. Re: Building in Aston Craigieburn 518Nov 14, 2013 8:56 pm I can't wait to get this all finished me and my gf want a shepherd I love them every time we looked at stuff I was looking at how much space there would be in backyard and if it would be enough lol Re: Building in Aston Craigieburn 519Nov 17, 2013 8:54 am NBN work commenced: AYCA-SQCJ0 — (Aston Development, Stage 10) If you are in stage 10, good news you would be connected to NBN soon. AYAA-GO270 — (Highlands, Stage 162) in same NBN building phase. Re: Building in Aston Craigieburn 520Nov 17, 2013 9:44 am Hey AB, how did you get nbn connected? I am trying to get connected too but our street will not come up on the nbn website so the service provider keeps telling me its not available!!!! But the nbn site says stage 7 is now available. I am so annoyed! Hey guys building a new place through a volume builder and just wondering if i should complain to the site supervisor as we just had plasterboard installed. Looks like… 0 11838 Elvis has left the building... The site supervisor quit after 2 month on the project. I guess he was just instructed to bark at people, but didn't like when he was… 26 21632 |
