And we have high ceilings too I thought. Oh well. Hubby chose the exterior lights, I wanted more classic style but understand I can't have EVERYTHING my way Anyway they look fine. Thanks again, the city views don't come out properly in the photos, it looks better in real life! Toilets have been delivered so will hopefully be plumbed soon. Really excited and happy yes. Heading up to the house as hubby is going to fit a shelf for the server rack (nerd stuff - but I'm the nerd!). Starting to get a LITTLE stressed about timings. Our lease runs out on 4th Dec which is only one month away, in that time they have to get the entrance tiling finished, shower screens fitted, toilets installed, obscure glazing on 2nd story window, data points & TV points fitted off, door furniture, deck stairs, last bit of the external painting, certificate of occupancy, PCI, & handover. Then we have to do carpeting and floor staining, and hubby wants to get a pest control thing done. If we are absolutely desperate we can move everything to the garage (ie: our furniture) and stay with family for a few days. Still ... not great. We got audited by everyone under the sun in 2 week time frame and Avoid Scoopon restaurants at ALL COST. : But on a good note I finished my paperwork for immigration and wonder of wonders it was approved in 2 weeks so I no longer have to worry about being forcibly removed from the country. Question: What is the profile of your cupboards in the kitchen/ supplier? We were going with a more provincial look however I recently found out that If I wish to run a home daycare it would be better for the kids area to be downstairs. And despite what others may believe I just don't think a french provincial kitchen goes well with a kids play room. Especially since its open plan with the play room just off the kitchen where the theater room was. Whatever profile you have Is what I'm thinking of changing to. At least in the kitchen. Its classic but still just that bit modern. Decorate your home. It gives the illusion that your life is more interesting than it really is.
