Love your light choices, very sparkly That's a bit awkward with the curtains If you need to buy from somewhere else you would have to find someone with the same fabric (I assume the pelmet is the same as the curtain fabric). Maybe the liquidator will contact those with orders and finalise them? https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=43937&start=0 Bought a block in Golden Grove - Jan 2011 Finally finished our design, Mar 2012, *yay* Signed with ADH council consent June 12 Re: modified wild orchid / dechellis / SA 503Sep 04, 2012 4:54 pm Just saw your posts in Theresa's thread, so question answered https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=43937&start=0 Bought a block in Golden Grove - Jan 2011 Finally finished our design, Mar 2012, *yay* Signed with ADH council consent June 12 Re: modified wild orchid / dechellis / SA 504Sep 04, 2012 5:05 pm Very bling .... We are the same as you re the power bill - first winter in the new house For info on our build: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=43093 Built the McLaren by Dechellis - slab down 22 Feb - handover 30 Aug 2011 - and gardens finished 9 Dec 2012!! Re: modified wild orchid / dechellis / SA 505Sep 04, 2012 6:14 pm Gorgeous lights! They finish the house off nicely. In regards to the curtains, I've contacted the bank and opened a dispute as I paid with my credit card. Never done this before so don't know if it'll work but it's worth a try. We've had a very good power bill this winter. Only about $220 for the quarter but I haven't installed a ducted reverse cycle system yet. I looked into the Daikin ones but it seems the larger units that use 3 phase power need to sit on the ground rather than be wall hung and we don't have paving yet. Re: modified wild orchid / dechellis / SA 506Sep 14, 2012 1:18 pm we are wanting to get some cabinetry made for our home theatre. i rang the place that did our kitchen, but they said they are so busy with builders that they dont take other orders. but he referred me onto stephney joinery. does anyone have any reccommendations of who to use? I got the lounge room light from a store in perth, i saw their website, HS reflections, and just rang and asked if they could post over. i got it purely for the shadow it creates, lol Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ close up Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ we are also working on our front yard before http://i723.photobucket.com/albums/ww240/VLH19/house/DSCN1681.jpg kapunda bluestone rocks http://i723.photobucket.com/albums/ww240/VLH19/house/DSCN1687.jpg prep for grass http://i723.photobucket.com/albums/ww240/VLH19/house/DSCN1698.jpg grass and ornamental pear trees http://i723.photobucket.com/albums/ww240/VLH19/house/DSCN1866.jpg now i just have to figure out what other plants i want to use and a feature plant for in front of the lounge windows, in the middle of the 3 stepping stones. we have also ordered shutters for the front side light and family room. then its just proper curtains for the front of the house (lounge and bedroom) and the playroom and spare room and eventually blinds for bathrooms and then we are DONE!!! Re: modified wild orchid / dechellis / SA-lights,curtains&ga 508Oct 10, 2012 4:26 pm Wow - your curtains look very swish!! Well done on getting the front garden done too ... it's nice to finally get to the point where you can stop shopping and start enjoying everything isn't it .... I NEED OPINIONS - our dining table broke! we need a new one either get tasmanian oak stained wenge, with chairs or get made a stone table for the same price, but without chairs (for now anyway) the stone is expensive, but if it last longer is it worth it. im worried that wood would get damaged too easily with the kids. the bigger issue is, if we decide stone....what colour!!!! i dont know if going the same as our kitchen (essastone new byzantine) will look too matchy-matchy if i pick something with no 'flecks' and try to match the colour, i dont want it to look like i failed on the match. or go a darker contrast....but i dont know what colour. i did like the new ceasarstone emporodoro, but its way more expensive, i need something in the byzantine price range Re: modified wild orchid / dechellis / SA-lights,curtains&ga 512Dec 13, 2012 11:03 am Decisions, decisions can't help I'm afraid - I love the warmth of wood as we have cold tiles throughout ... Re: modified wild orchid / dechellis / SA-lights,curtains&ga 513Dec 13, 2012 8:44 pm I would have to say timber too, for the same reason as McLaren. There are good, thick vinyl cloths around or you could buy a length from Spotlight and make a cover for the table to protect it, just take it off when you have visitors and put a pretty one on instead, maybe? https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=43937&start=0 Bought a block in Golden Grove - Jan 2011 Finally finished our design, Mar 2012, *yay* Signed with ADH council consent June 12 Re: modified wild orchid / dechellis / SA 514Oct 29, 2013 12:47 pm Hello thought i'd come back for an update!
