They didn't even send anyone out, they just looked at a different existing report.
I'm speaking to them about it tomorrow, will let you know.

Look out Hugh and John. Building a WISDOM MANAHATTAN 43 (ensuite) Nova façade-Colorbond roof(monument) Lot 113...4 Oakbank Pl. Re: BUILDING IN MANOOKA VALLEY CURRANS HILL 146Aug 12, 2013 10:10 pm Very good Ash I think we will agree to let you build your house Candice we looked on the web reg the 1 st storey windows. It seemed it was passed back in march and it basically said windows can not be allowed to be opened more then 12 cm wide. I wonder if builders have just incorporated this into their windows. We are building a 2 storey house and nothing has been told to us. All our front windows of the first floor are wind out style and our 3 other kids bedrooms are larger sliding style windows. We had considered getting security mess screens when we get our fly screens installed to these 3 window for safety but if the windows have already been fixed to not open any wider then 12 cm we might not need to. I went out to manooka on Sunday. Took photos of the parks progress. It really looks great ! Anyone else home sick for their home that doesn't even exist yet!! I am ! I have flipped all my photos of the display house as our house is exactly the same as the display house at Gregory hills but our is just reversed. I look at the photos all the time dreaming of my house, picturing my furniture in it. Having the images reversed have really helped me picture it better now. Candice I drove round to your block and noticed your back fence boarders a family from the local school they have a daughter in my eldest year. Your lucky you already have 2 fences, side and back. We did get a email saying congratulations settlement went through. so I guess someone put in the 17 cents for us I wish I could figure out how to share photos on here... Oh also found out there is only 4 lots left. Plus next to us should be a single storey house as a builder has bought the block and is planing a single storey house. anyone got any other news? I guess this is how they get over the burdle with council and its a cheap fix. Apparently the security screens havent been tested to see if they can withstand the pressure they require to comply ....and it also costs more. And changing all the windows to awning windows costs extra too.... Our main bedroom as well chapo has the wind out windows but all other bedrooms are sliding.... guess we will take the window restrictor things... glad to hear you know our soon to be new neighbours.... we drive up to the gate next to their house that often, i think they may think we are stalkers hanging out near the gate....havent seen them outside yet to say hi or anything yet... and yes we do have most of our fence done.... im not sure how it will look next to a brand new wooden fence though, they are looking fairly grey now...but we plan on putting plants along the fence line so hopefully the difference wont be to obvious.... and chapo6 i agree im homesick too....i just want this house done now! we also lodged our plans to council now...fingers crossed they come back soon and approved!! And hopefully start building end of september as planned. can someone tell me how do you track your council progress?? Camden council website?? I cant seem to find where to check it out....i think someone on this forum said they can see the council progress... thats all from me... havent got any other news candice Re: BUILDING IN MANOOKA VALLEY CURRANS HILL 149Aug 15, 2013 9:32 pm You can track on camden council web sitehttp://planning.camden.nsw.gov.au/M ... fault.aspx Looks like about average 4 weeks council approval stage, not sure about other builders but from all forums ive been reading after council approval wisdom take about2/3 months to start the construction stage. ( hopefully sooner) Not sure what the progress stages on the council web site mean but most of oakbank pl status is cor late aug notification assessment completed??? Building Wisdom Manhattan 36 Re: BUILDING IN MANOOKA VALLEY CURRANS HILL 150Aug 16, 2013 9:01 pm Hey lynchy Thanks for the website....i found our house on the list of applications....although this morning it said it was a single storey house when we are actually building a 2 storey....i sent of a quick email to council early morning and one to our customer service girl at Eden Brae and tonight it has been amended to 2 storey...so glad that wasn't a major issue. I saw all the Oakbank Pl residents plans are in too, we are the only ones on Manooka Road that i can find that have lodged...notification to be finished on the 3rd September..not sure what this actually means though lets hope for quick approval process for all Candice and Ryan Re: BUILDING IN MANOOKA VALLEY CURRANS HILL 151Aug 17, 2013 8:12 am I notice your place saying single storey and did wonder if it was correct then I thought maybe it was a different house. I'm glad it has been sorted out for you. Plus the family I know are right behind you not on the side of your block. When you look at your block from right out the front their house is the one that only has a wire fence down their side but looks like their back fence is right in your left corner. Building Wisdom Manhattan 36 Re: BUILDING IN MANOOKA VALLEY CURRANS HILL 153Aug 23, 2013 9:54 am Had a call from Wisdom yesterday to say that council required proof of the land title in our name. Despite settling over four weeks ago the land title transfer only occurred on the 20/08/13. All sorted now but was amazed it took nearly four weeks for the title to change. Hopefully will be out of council in the next week. Re: BUILDING IN MANOOKA VALLEY CURRANS HILL 154Aug 23, 2013 5:14 pm Should not be long now Paul, hopefully no more unexpected complications and we can start building in the coming months. Good new is that the first house lodged into council has now been approved ( 14 ASCOT DR) Wisdom also changed my electric/nbn extra charge shows you need to check everything. Building Wisdom Manhattan 36 Re: BUILDING IN MANOOKA VALLEY CURRANS HILL 155Aug 23, 2013 5:29 pm They changed the charge back to $0 Lynchy? They wouldn't change mine, showed me (on request) a plan showing it was greater than 7m meters from my house therefore I need to pay. Yea I'm hoping mine will come out of council on Monday, we'll see. Re: BUILDING IN MANOOKA VALLEY CURRANS HILL 156Aug 23, 2013 5:37 pm Went from $1300 to $300 Also questioned the extra drop edge beams and they came back and said didn't need as many as quoted, haven't had the price variation sent back yet for that Building Wisdom Manhattan 36 Re: BUILDING IN MANOOKA VALLEY CURRANS HILL 157Aug 23, 2013 6:33 pm hey everyone, The wait is on now to get the go ahead from council ..as you guys say should be in the next week or so.John did you get that neighbour notification from our place?..also got our first rate notice for the land..anyone else got that yet? Building a WISDOM MANAHATTAN 43 (ensuite) Nova façade-Colorbond roof(monument) Lot 113...4 Oakbank Pl. Re: BUILDING IN MANOOKA VALLEY CURRANS HILL 158Aug 23, 2013 9:40 pm We didn't see or hear anything reg the neighbour notifications. Ours ended on Wednesday. We have not received any rate notice yet. We are hoping for DA approval next week. We are now trying to still work out the vanities we want. We only just discovered that the kitchen guys have designed the powder room vanity too big. We weren't to know how deep it needed to be but feel timpelle should have know. It had been drawn as 500 mm deep but can only be a max of 400mm the display house is only 380 mm. So we have to have it all sorted next week so we can have all our variations etc all put together for a file etc etc we obviously don't want a silly powder room vanity holding up the build of our house. I was happy to discovered another family from school is also building in manooka valley. Still feeling very home sick for Currans hill we ate in at the pizza place tonight which was lovely so that made me feel better Building a Wisdom Impression 33 5 bed + study, outdoor leisure + lanai, Jasper colorbond roof Re: BUILDING IN MANOOKA VALLEY CURRANS HILL 159Aug 23, 2013 10:45 pm No Ash we didn't recieve any notifications regarding your house, but we did get a council rates letter and a valuation letter from lands titles office for the block which was funny as it was valued in july 2010 last. Our neighbours notification period ends 4th sept not sure why ours is so long. Building Wisdom Manhattan 36 thanks guys! yes this is how I've exactly raised it with the builder. still awaiting response. 12 6390 Howdy all.
