Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Aug 03, 2013 6:56 pm Hi, We're going to attempt to do our landscaping plans for our DA ourselves as we have pretty much gone over our limits on the build $$ already and trying to save every little bit extra. We've just got a small yard and are putting in some basic stuff so not very tricky. Have been down to the nursery to suss out plant species and their botanical names etc. Does anyone have one that they would be willing to PM me as reference? I know different councils have different requirements, but I am just after a guide. Also, what is the maintenance plan supposed to be about? I assumed i would just water and trim the new garden - not sure why the council want to know about this? Would appreciate any advice in this area. Or are we completely mad tackling it ourselves?
