Given that we used our grey cabinetry colour to choose flooring that was in the same sort of family I'm liking the look of Taubmans silver spoon along with it but want to get a few different samples so when we have handover we can check the colours on the walls in 2-3 different rooms of the house to see how they look so we choose the right one. Mr Doe isn't looking forward to painting so if I get the colour wrong I'll be in big trouble Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Follow our build with Express Two Storey (Ventura Group): http://tinyurl.com/jlykgph Follow our build with Express Two Storey (Ventura Group): viewtopic.php?f=31&t=85122 Re: Express Two Storey (Ventura Group) build in Hocking, WA 144Jul 19, 2017 9:38 pm Oh I like Silver Spoon! Matches really well with the cabinetry. My only concern is whether is would be too dark. You could always go with half strength to lighten it up. It definitely seems to have a warm undertone. Check the RGB numbers. If it is, the R number should be higher that the g and B numbers Our 37sq Custom Hamptons Inspired Home: http://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=86931 Re: Express Two Storey (Ventura Group) build in Hocking, WA 145Jul 19, 2017 11:25 pm Your house is looking lovely, congratulations on being nearly there! @Madora Dreamer Re: Express Two Storey (Ventura Group) build in Hocking, WA 146Jul 20, 2017 10:46 pm Dani_J Oh I like Silver Spoon! Paint colour is so hard! Follow our build with Express Two Storey (Ventura Group): http://tinyurl.com/jlykgph We went with floorboards, also in the Silver Oak! I have the Essa Stone bitumen bench colour and then matt white cupboards and stainless steel kickers so its nice to see how they come up. The original colour I choose was discontinued so I went with the Silver Oak. It has come up a treat at yours so I am super happy to see that, as I was doubting myself for a minute! If it helps I dropped by this afternoon while the carpet layer was there and I took a close up up the floors against our kitchen cabinets to give you a better idea of what they look like against the white cabinetry. I personally love the warm grey tones of the floor even more now I've seen it installed, such a nice base for introducing other colours in rugs, accessories etc Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Follow our build with Express Two Storey (Ventura Group): http://tinyurl.com/jlykgph Follow our build with Express Two Storey (Ventura Group): viewtopic.php?f=31&t=85122 Re: Express Two Storey (Ventura Group) build in Hocking, WA 160Jul 25, 2017 7:18 pm mrsdoe Does anybody have any suggestions for shades of grey paint which are nice neutrals and won't be too cold looking? We have a lovely, warm neutral grey, it's Haymes Spatial and I love that it can look light or dark, depending on the time of day, it's such a lovely colour. So far it's blended well with all the colours we've used throughout the house there is a few calculators you can use if you just google it 7 10823 4 15889 2 22218 |
