Apparently the roof is not quite level which has thrown out the measurements for the robe. This is the only place it is very visible? We met with our SS and he said it’s common and there’s not much they can do? That didn’t sit right and I felt pretty annoyed as you would see this in a display home! What would you guys do.. should I escalate it higher...? Is there some sort of quick fix and has anyone else had this issue since it’s common? Thanks http://www.vba.vic.gov.au/__data/assets ... s-2007.pdf Have a look at section 9. 4mm deviation over 2 metres is the upper tolerance. That photo you took looks way more than tolerance. Sounds like your SS is trying to wiggle out of it. Don’t let him. Re: Coral Homes general build thread 11031Jul 04, 2018 3:20 pm Hi all Can someone please tell me how much the credit was for removing their 60cm ceramic cooktop. I am wanting to buy an induction myself and get them to install it. The other option originally was see how the cooktop goes then replace, but with the stone bench tops this may be a problem? Re: Coral Homes general build thread 11032Jul 05, 2018 11:17 am Hey coral ppl, has anyone paid the tiler a cashie for going from 2.1 to ceiling height. We have got the elegance inclusions and thought we would get a price from the tiler. He quoted us $500 for labour work for bathroom, toilet and ensuite. The extra tiles we are paying for through beaumounts. do you guys think $500 is a resonable price for labour? I’m not sure if you his is cheap or not??? Help please thanks 🙏 Re: Coral Homes general build thread 11033Jul 06, 2018 5:27 am georgiarosedale Hi all Can someone please tell me how much the credit was for removing their 60cm ceramic cooktop. Only about $220 from memory. The one in oure suite literally moves a lot if you rest up against it. And seems very fragile. I’m worried Becoz this wall is going to be tiled to the ceiling. Hence the grout and tiles may eventually crack. Does anyone else have this issue when in building faze? I’m seriously thinking to get them to change it back to standard door frame. It’s so wonky. Totally not the standard I expected. If you grab the wall and try and move it the whole wall wobbles. 😳 Re: Coral Homes general build thread 11038Jul 08, 2018 8:19 pm bestspecials mj-mac4 Hey all, do you guys have a lot of movement in your cavity slider walls? Also do you have pop up drains in your bathroom and ensuite sinks. The ones delivered are just standard with a big ugly plastic plug. But our elegance inclusions state pop up chrome drains for the sinks. I just checked our contract. Could you please post a pic of your bathroom sinks so I can see please. Only if you have time.
