I would have thought if you are paying them to install as part of contract it needs to be in by handover? I would have thought if you are paying them to install as part of contract it needs to be in by handover? This time of year they are very busy. It was literally the only appointment available for install , same with appliances. http://preludehome.tumblr.com/ Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 14365Dec 01, 2017 3:35 pm Hi All I am looking to have power and perhaps water for a future shed. What did you do for this, Cathy Cathy Building Harmony Elite - Option B - Grande Resort Suite - Modified Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 14366Dec 01, 2017 7:37 pm Congrats beeprelude!!! The bows look awesome, your double door entry is super impressive. I know what you mean about being excited to get Christmassy. It's lovely to decorate your own home. We've made good progress on decks and garden beds this week. Should have grass down by the end of next week ... and then we are done for now! It will be lovely to no longer look and feel like we are living on a building site. I cannot wait to stop being so busy with doing things to the house and yard, so we can get busy making great memories in our new home. Congratulation. I love the main double door and ofcourse the big red bow. Martinsharmony - the deck looks wonderful. I assume you had the alfresco done by M but without the slab and you did your deck yourself. Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 14371Dec 03, 2017 5:58 pm kly525 kly525 Izee How long does it usually take from Post Contract to Construction? We've just signed and are in our 90 day post contract period but these 90 days run over the 1 month industry shutdown in Dec-Jan. Based on the timeline M has given us, it will take up to 83 working days for everything to be done - making it virtually impossible for us to be in construction before the 90 day period finishes - meaning we will probably have to pay the $950 per month even whilst they aren't doing any work over those 30 days of shutdown? Anyone else been in a similar situation before? Does M extend this period to take into account the industry shutdown? Does it state that in your tender? Mine did not and they tried to charge us the $950 and I told them no way are we agreeing to pay. They reversed the charges as it was not part of the tender. Also they mentioned that if you signed the contract early they add additional days onto your 90 days. I.e. if you had until march 30 to sign ur contracts but signed on the 1st march they add an extra 29 days to your 90 days. At least that was what they told me...but as i said that was not in our tender so i told them in the nicest possible way i ain't paying regardless of how many days over We just started our 46 weeks construction period as of Friday 27 October. So yah us Congrats Masterton / Synergy 32 with Contemporary Facade: duybee.wixsite.com/synergy32 Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 14372Dec 04, 2017 7:11 am Thanks for the info. That is a good price. Did they put a junction box on your house and you dig the pit for the power or did they dig that for you. That is a nice size shed where did you get it from if you don't mind me asking and did you install yourself and if so was it easy to put up. I have my woodworking equipment and tools that I want to be able to put somewhere and use again. I want to have a shed and also maybe a pool later on in the backyard. Trying to decide whether I would need water to the as well. Or whether I am just over thinking it. My yard is not that big up the back but is wider down the side. I have put a rough plan I did in smartdraw. Not sure on Shed size as yet as it is hard to get and idea of space in a plan format. Would be welcome to any ideas. I was going to have a door out to the side but decided against it so I can have more options for the side yard plus we will have 5 children (3 are my partners and 2 mine) and did not want so many doors to outside for them to run in and out of. Hubby made that from all the raw materials he purchased from I think it was a steel place in Penrith. I'm going to stay onesteel. He got our side carport materials from there too. Cost a total of $1500. It's not a pretty cut pack he did it all himself. The side awning would have cost us nearly 8 times that alone. Hope that helps Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 14376Dec 05, 2017 6:43 pm MGardz CathyP Thanks for the info. That is a good price. I am not that clever will probably get a shed kit and put it together myself. Just researching all the options now so I am prepared when the house is built. But good to know what to do with the power.
