I am building with Henley too and have a color appointment with Rohnnie how was ur experience with her. Re: Mainvue Emporio ER430 - Knockdown and Rebuild 28Apr 24, 2015 6:46 pm Hi Adil, Our color appointment wasn't with Rhonnie, I just happened to bump into her when I looking for ideas for the facade render. Found Rhonnie to be enthusiastic and provided us with some well considered options. You should be fine. My advice is see if you like one of the boards as this will take a lot of the guesswork out of it. Also if there is a particular display that you like, you can always replicate the colors in your own build. There are folders at Cosham that contain all the color selections for all the displays. Mirz went down this path and its looking pretty schmick. ------------------------------------------- Build Thread - Mainvue Emporio ER430 KDR https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=76790&p=1332227&hilit=mainvue#p1332227 Re: Mainvue Emporio ER430 - Knockdown and Rebuild 29Apr 25, 2015 10:31 pm Facade Selecting the facade was a difficult decision. We chopped and changed between the Eclipse, Lancaster and Ultima facades and ultimately settled for the Lancaster with a couple of modifications. Bricks - Austral Newport Mortar - off white Windows - aluminium Monument (tossed up between Woodland Grey and Monument) Roof - Unglazed terracotta (granite) Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Below is an example of the look we are hoping for. This example is using Woodland Grey windows so the Monument window will look a little darker. We are also considering those facades and the ultima is winning for me at the mo. After having visited Cosham I'm trying to visualise what the external schemes would look like (wish there was some simple free software as this is not a talent I have). What garage colour did you pick? Also thanks for the pic with your changed plans - spoke to my SC about it and she knew exactly what I mean (in fact I think we have the same one). I'm just trying to figure out if we want to make the change to both sides of the house - looks nicer at entrance to beds 3 & 4 but size of leisure is the trade off. Re: Mainvue Emporio ER430 - Knockdown and Rebuild 31Apr 27, 2015 1:25 pm Thanks Vino, We also looked for software, and the couple we did find didn't have many selections so we gave up on it. We ended up going with the wood grain look garage door (Caoba) mainly to break it up a bit as we currently have a lot of face brickwork and aluminium windows. Glad you were able to make use of the changes, definitely fast-tracks the process. For us the trade off was a no brainer as we plan to use the 2 rear bedrooms so it's important for us they are the same size. You've also raised a valid point about having the entries aligned which we didn't really think about at the time. If the size of the leisure is a not negotiable for you, then you can always increase the size of beds 2 & 3 and leave bed 4 as is. ------------------------------------------- Build Thread - Mainvue Emporio ER430 KDR https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=76790&p=1332227&hilit=mainvue#p1332227 Re: Mainvue Emporio ER430 - Knockdown and Rebuild 32Apr 27, 2015 1:41 pm Hi MichaelQ. What stage is your build at now? I am hoping you are just slightly ahead of us, so we can benefit from your experience. Our slab was poured today. We might have the same tradies too as we are in Burwood. Re: Mainvue Emporio ER430 - Knockdown and Rebuild 33Apr 27, 2015 9:42 pm Hi Semerson, You're way ahead of us, we just recently signed the contract. Are you going to create a thread for your build? ------------------------------------------- Build Thread - Mainvue Emporio ER430 KDR https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=76790&p=1332227&hilit=mainvue#p1332227 Re: Mainvue Emporio ER430 - Knockdown and Rebuild 34Apr 27, 2015 9:48 pm I would love to hear more Semerson Re: Mainvue Emporio ER430 - Knockdown and Rebuild 35Apr 29, 2015 12:18 am Hi Michael and Vino (and Sassid ), So excited that there are ppls will be building nearby, which means most likely will be sharing the same SS and contractors, hopefully we will have someone as good as what Sassid has (correct me if I'm wrong). Will be following with great interest and hope everything will go smoothly. Re: Mainvue Emporio ER430 - Knockdown and Rebuild 37Apr 29, 2015 8:38 am Hi all. Upstairs will be carpeted. With so many manufacturers and colors, selecting a carpet shouldn't be a major hassle. Ground floor, we need something that's durable, considered laminates and looks like we'll now go with Bamboo. We like the look of the tri-colored bamboo often referred to as Australiana as it has variation unlike most other bamboo colors that tend to be very consistent.
