Browse Forums Building Standards; Getting It Right! 1 Jun 22, 2020 9:55 pm Hi All, Have a question regarding a proposed House build we’re planning. We’re looking to build on a building envelope on a battle axe block, but there’s a Tree Protection Zone right over the driveway. My understanding is that this zone must be fenced off and inaccessible to vehicles, people and machinery when there are any construction works.. meaning it’d be impossible to access the site to build. Is there any way (or any hope) to work around the TPZ? It’s a big gum tree. Site plan attached.
