Browse Forums Building Standards; Getting It Right! 1 Dec 11, 2019 11:46 am I've recently moved from commercial surveying to the east coast and taken up a gig doing predominantly sheds and houses My understanding is that Table 3.5.1.1 does not allow for the usage of sheet metal roofing within 100m of breaking surf. Can someone confirm my understanding as prob 50% of the dwellings i see being built are not in accordance with this clause. Secondly the NCC gives minimal reference to the requirements of metal sheet wall cladding other than installation standards. A quick check of colorbonds product selection guide indicates that wall cladding requires a higher grade of corrosion protection then roofing cladding Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Can anyone further this conversation with me.
