Recently, I built a house with Eden Brae and I was expecting they will build as in their construction drawing. But today I discovered that they did not install -Acoustic floor insulation - between ground and first floor which they mentioned in the signed Construction drawing. Picture attached below:
When I questioned the builder about the-Acoustic installation; they replied - "It as an Hasting notes only in construction drawing. If this is not part of your post variations or contract tender you have not paid for it to be installed."
I feel it as misleading and negligence and unprofessional.
- Can a builder write anything on final construction drawing and do not install them? In this case, builder never told it was an extra until I asked them today.
Please advise .
