Browse Forums Building Standards; Getting It Right! 1 Dec 29, 2018 12:09 pm Hi After some advice please. These weeping holes/ventilation ‘vents’ are under fully enclosed decking. They are about 10 cm in length (except where covered up). We bought the house like this and opened up the deck after issues with smell inside. 1. Are these weeping holes or ventilation vents? 2. If these are ventilation vents/holes are they compliant? From what I’ve read they don’t seem to be but we are not familiar with the building code. At this stage we are not sure how many of these there are. How many should there be? Tks!
