Browse Forums Building Standards; Getting It Right! 1 Feb 15, 2018 9:55 am Hi there, I am new to this forum, so if I have posted in the wrong place or if the topic is irrelevant please let me know. I have bought a unit Off The Plan and moved in less than 2 years, I have noticed that some items were included in the contract were not installed as specified. For example, I noticed that the gutters on the contract are Colorbond, however, I checked and they are Ace Gutters; the other item is the hot water service contract says Rinnay and the one installed is Eternity. Is this a breach of contract or the builder can say that he replaced those items because the branded items as specified were not available for example? Anyway, on the contract, the model specified was very clear with the model name, etc. Thanks for your comment anyway Re: Breach Of Contract? 5Feb 19, 2018 9:50 am Jonh John I am quite sure Eternity is from Chromagem, not Rinnai. Yes, you are right. It should have been picked up at PCI, 2 years after handover is pushing it to take action. I hope that it isn't having issues, the Rinnai unit actually features much more on Product Review. 3in1 Supadiverta. Rainwater Harvesting Best Practice using syphonic drainage. From the picture you can see the power was put in last so the electrician knew where the water was. Really it's a common sense issue more… 4 5139 You talk about deletions, are they variations or PS and PC adjustments? pleas list them 1 16455 Been in a similar position and we decided to let the builder go.
