Hi guys, just moved into a new built about 3 months ago and just noticed today that the paint in the garage ceiling has come off.
It is actually quiet strange, it seems like the paint has been pushed out by something inside (nail? but I cant see the nail...) and then there are other spots that seems to have "popped" out a little but the paint is still ok.
It is a double storey house and this is only happening in my garage, I don't notice it anywhere else inside the house...
I have timber frame if it that has anything to do with it.
Hard to explain so I have attached a few pics....
Anyone know whats causing this and if this is a serious or a cosmetic issues?
Thanks in advance for your help.

The fixings nails/screws have popped and judging by the number of pops
I would say there was an issue there originally and they tried fixing it unsuccessfully
At a guess I would say it's a truss roof frame, check stiffness, spacings, ceiling battens spacings & blocking
otherwise the problem will be on going?
