Browse Forums Building Standards; Getting It Right! 1 Jun 14, 2017 11:37 am Ok so I have a sloped backyard which makes things challenging at times. I've just made a kids swing out of acq treated 125mm coppers logs and attached it to the side of a 300 x 300 core filled block column where the deck is (see pic). I've also put rubber under the top rail and the bracket to dampen any movement. I'm now starting question whether this is even legal or could it cause damage over time? Would there be any issues with this? Once the kids are bigger I'll simply remove it, cheers.
