Building Standards; Getting It Right!

Hi, Just like to know is it a common practice if you have bricks that runs through within the roof, that cant be seen from the outside that the builder would use standard face bricks , rather than sticking with what is used for the rest of the house.

It's not unusual to use an ordinary brick where it can't be seen.
If you go for a rendered finish you could find the builder has used up all the odd bricks left over from previous jobs because it won't show.
