I'm actually scared to let him see it! He wasn't too happy with the last inspect with the slab and they are yet to fix those issues. how much influence does the inspection report actually put onto the builder? What is the best way to use it to our advantage other than to just highlight the issues? If you've got a stubborn ss or builder it won't influence at all. That bit is up to you. The report arms you with facts and references to the code that have not been met. It's up to you to push the buttons unless it's specified that the inspector will act for you to resolve the issues to conclusion Creator of superduperonium, expert at expert things, nobel laureate, can hold my breath for 10 minutes. Re: ** job on bricks 9Jul 27, 2016 2:16 pm Agree with what Ponzu has said , I would tell the builder straight if its not sorted you will take it further, dont be put off by the builder, keep records of all correspondence and tell the build you require in wrighting his proposals how he is going to fix it and a realistic time scale. He might try to give you BS but stay strong .If no joy get in contact with fair trades NSW they may have a case load against him already. Is he a member of the MBA if so get a complaint in with these as well if he wont fix the problems.
