We have a mix of louvres (6mm) and pane Windows (4mm).
We have a larger fixed pane window which is about 1.1 x 1.1.
The schedule says it should be 5mm thick.
Presumably larger window = thicker glass.
The builder had to change from his preferred window supplier at the last minute, there was some issue with the windows.
Anyway now towards the end of our build the painter points out the whole window wobbles in the middle when you press it! Is the glass too thin? It really bothers me it hasn't been addressed until now.
No drama with the builder he said he's aware and is sorting it but why did this happen and what will they need to do to fix it - replace with a thicker pane? I don't want any crappy fixes.
