Is this something worth bringing up with the builder? Nothing can really be done about it now as the roof frame is on. Should I just let this one slide? If it's DW1 a perp end dimensional tolerance is 10mm +/- 3mm [ie 7mm-13mm] If they are rated DW0 there is no perp end dimensional tolerance. The pics make me assume the brickwork is a 290mm [Long] x 162mm [High] x 90mm [thick] block. If so it shouldn't be laid on a third bond but instead using a 240mm long block on each course left/right the external corners allowing a transition into a standard half bond for the rest of the wall. Being a builder is more than just having once held a hammer. It's about the trades you hire and ensuring that they give a result that meets the industry standard and the home owners expectations. The fastest thing a builder will do is bank your cheque, those systems work perfectly with lightning speed, everything else is slow burn.
