Browse Forums Building Standards; Getting It Right! 1 Nov 05, 2015 2:29 pm Hi I'm wanting to know what I can and can't do when it comes to window above my bath. I have seen display homes with a window that is sitting at the same height of the bath hob. This would be ideal for my new home however I have my builder stating that it's not possible due to waterproofing. And that the window on the hobI have seen won't meet Australian standards. I know that walls need to be waterproofed for 150mm above the he bath, but what if part of the wall is window? Can it be done and how? or does my window need to commence 150mm above the bath to allow for waterproofing? Thanks This was on google.
