The wax coating also is only a coating on the surface. Drill a hole through to let the water out and you may cause more problems than you are trying to solve. If it saves the rest of your flooring though it may be worth it.

We've had/getting some drier weather and it looked like they may have been brooming it off.
The roof is going on this week.
What if anything do you suggest we check if it's long term that would be the issue?
Do you mean after construction? He said any cupping would be sanded back. Floor will be blackbutt. Should he replace instead of sand back?
We haven't engaged a private inspector for ourselves at this stage.. We do have a private ceetifier doing the council inspections.
They didn't drill any holes.
