I couldn't find a thread on articulation joints but thought I would ask the question here.
On a single storey home, whilst the standard says a maximum of 6m between joints, would this be different based on what kind of slab the house is sitting on ?
My home is a single storey on a raft slab, H class soil, with the slab engineered to P class. I have found that on two walls, rear and side the articulation joints are at a maximum spaced at 8m.
Would you see this as cause for concern ?
