The crumbling of the edge of the set down (which will be concealed when the walls goes up) could have been caused by the concrete sticking to the formwork when the formwork was removed. I agree with Beetaloo's comments, just that formwork was removed a bit early (while edge was still slightly soft). It doesn't affect the overall integrity of the slab.
