Browse Forums Building Standards; Getting It Right! 1 Oct 06, 2014 9:34 am Hi, I'm looking at extending a verandah, and will do the work myself. I need to submit drawings etc, which doesn't scare me but I need to make sure the design complies from an engineering perspective. I assume that there is a table somewhere of timber sizes etç that are required for certain spans, at certain centres etc. But I cant find it anywhere, except (I presume) in the Qld building code which is $400. anyone know of a free resource that will help me do this? Thanks.
