was wondering if anyone could shed some light on this for me. My gas hot water has been installed and looks like this. To me this is very untidy and ugly. Is it suppose to look like this? http://www.rinnai.com.au/hotwater/access/default.asp?whs=home&pg=6 I see you have a Dux unit, but i'm sure they'd have something similar? There are pipe covers that are available that you can look at, but it depends on the length of the pipes they've installed. Might be a good idea to check the display home and see if that's what it looks like on the wall too? LOL i thought about that too....let us know what happens Anne? Re: Should my HWS be mounted like this 8May 20, 2008 7:37 pm Seems a bit bozo mounted to me.
I would have put it lower and to the right so the power cord actually reaches and then bend the pipes to suit the locations. From that pic, it looks like they are trying to make life easy with no bends in their pipes. But they might be just trying to get it high enough to meet regulations with the window neatrby they have to be so far away etc etc. I'd be asking some pretty serious questions about it's current location. Maybe from your wilder younger days Nicola - thanks for the link. I will be paying a visit to the display next week. The chandelier in question is quite large, measuring 4 meters… 0 72334 No the fireplace doesn’t work. It’s been enclosed. I’m not sure what was removed, as it was done quite some time ago - well before what I can see with photos online… 2 11584 i imagine you also have another contract with an architect? and yeah, whatever other's said about special conditions and appendices 16 16001 |
