Browse Forums Building Standards; Getting It Right! 1 Jan 06, 2014 2:51 pm Hi All I am looking at buying a block in a suburb that is on septics, but across the road in a new sub-division there is infil/deep sewage available. Now my issue is that this block is lower than the depth of the deep sewage line across the road and therefore I will need to build the block up about a meter or so in order to be able to gravity feed to the infil sewer line. I dont want to put septics in because the block is subdividable. Is there a vacuum wastewater product that is approved for use in Western Australia for a domestic application? cheers in advance!!! Re: Vacuum sewerage system 2Jan 06, 2014 3:07 pm Vacuum systems aren't suitable for your application. You may be better off with a 'Pressure Sewerage' Solution. Re: Vacuum sewerage system 4Jan 06, 2014 9:23 pm Good link Brian. We had looked previously at a Saniaccess system to pump waste from our downstairs bathroom up about a metre to the sewer but this looks like it may be a better product. Do you know if they are available here ? Stewie Re: Vacuum sewerage system 5Jan 07, 2014 4:52 am They should be. I worked on a project to install about 200 in Central Coast NSW about 4 years ago. Both Mono Pumps and Flygt also have pressure sewer pumpss. . The Harder You Try - the Luckier You Get !
