Browse Forums Building Standards; Getting It Right! 1 Nov 11, 2013 9:43 am Hi all, We are working on our landscaping in the front yard which faces south. We plan to have a garden bed with a few plants that don't require much water along the front of the house, which will then be filled with rock (and probably a weed control mesh) http://www.bunnings.com.au/weed-control ... 6_p3040664 I am not sure if we are doing this right. Is this bad for the foundations in the front, should there be a greater slope, should i just concrete it, rock it etc.. I do not want to do the wrong thing and in turn damage our foundations. If not, i might just rock it up and plant nothing there in front of the house..
