Your electrician will be well aware of the requirements, but for your knowledge...
For a vessel less than 45 litres, the powerpoint must be installed 15cm away on the horizontal from the outer edge, and at least 40cm above the vessel vertically... No powerpoint can be installed inside these dimensions... Electrical Engineer... Don't hold that against me... And keen owner builder... Mainly the building part!!
