I had a quick look at our frames and noticed that we had a handful of noggin that were not flushed against the studs and you could see the nails that is holding it on to the frame. Is this acceptable or it requires to be replaced or corrected? Any infos are greatly appreciated. Ramifications if it is not is that the frame can also twist. This can cause the fastener to pull on the plaster side eventually and you will see a dip. I would of got them to fix it. You can really use anything you want the main consideration would be how it looks once painted/finished - or the look you want.
