Hey guys,
We are building the Clarendon/Domaine Wentworth 33 in the Ponds.
We've been advised they are only using 7 piers for the whole structure. Can anyone please let me know if this sounds unreasonable? Essentially all 7 piers are at the rear access garage.
So essentially most of the house is not supported by piers. Any advise would be most appreciated as we are quite concerned.
Clarendon includes 60 Lmtrs of concrete for as part of standard site costs. However, 7 piers probably takes only about 15Lm. This alone is a worry for us. [note we have an H2 class slab]
Cheers
Sand.
