LIGHTS
Google found for me a reference that seems to indicate that it is OK ............
http://www.build.com.au/bathroom/bath/b ... wer-points
Assuming 2.7m ceilings ...............
:
Shower - The area with a horizontal radius of 1.2m from the fixed plumbing connection of the shower. The vertical boundaries of this area extend from the floor to the ceiling, or up to 2.5m above the floor, whichever is lower.
So the "lower" of "from the floor to the ceiling" which is 2.7m or 2.5m above the floor, is obviously 2.5m from the floor.
The page linked above does also contain the statement....
So, I'm understanding that above 2.5m above floor level is not in any zone, so anything goes ??
EXHAUST FANS
The above link only refers to sockets / switches / lights, and makes no reference to the actual appliances ....
The only direct reference I can find is from IXL who say that the best place to install one of their bathroom exhaust fans is directly above the shower .....
http://www.ixlappliances.com.au/ventilation_guide.html
2 Where do I need to Ventilate and Placement ?
So, anything goes with exhaust fans too ??
Thanks,
