Browse Forums Building Standards; Getting It Right! 1 Feb 22, 2013 8:30 pm Hi everyone, I've just had my old roof replaced with colourbond, and they installed sarking at the same time. When I've looked into the roof space I can see that the sarking doesn't go all the way to the top. I've been reading lots of forums and sites but i can't seem to find any info on this. I've asked the builder, but of course they say its right. I was just hoping for a second or third opinion. Thanks. The building surveyor can give a builder the right to operate under the previous rules if the design was substantially in existence before the rules changed.
