Hi,
I went to a lighting shop for some garden lights and was told that the light I was looking at was 230-240V and not the low voltage kind, and therefore I could not install the fixture close to the pool.
Can someone advise what's the 'safe' distance for installation of a 230-240V light fixture which is rated for outdoor use?
Is there some special treatment I need to do for installation of such a light fixture?
It's essentially a bollard lighting, with the light at least 400mm above the ground.
I'd be putting the lights at least 1m away from the pool, in fact, there's supposed to be conduit wiring running within 1m of the pool along the boundary to the rear of the property too for the pool pump.
Thanks in advance!
