Browse Forums Building Standards; Getting It Right! 1 Jul 27, 2011 9:48 am Hi all, We are currently in the middle of our build, and have noticed that the colour of our bricks is not the same as ther colour of the brick shown to us when we chose them before build. The colour was supposed to be a grey colour, we even told the lady who was going through our options that we wanted a similar look to the display home which had a grey brick and white mortar. Anyway, fastforward to the build, we have noticed that the bricks actually look a little brownish. I will get some photos to show what I mean soon. But what I am asking, is what can be done about this since the whole house has already been done? Is there grounds for us to complain and get some sort of compensation? Or with bricks, do you get what your given as long as it's the brick you chose? Re: Brick colours not right 2Jul 27, 2011 9:59 am Yes you can complain, if the bricks are clearly not matching the displayed panels and the display homes. Someone posted about it in my thread: viewtopic.php?p=575943#p575943 Nawkaw is an alternative to re-bricking the entire house.
