The attached pic shows how the builder is running water pipes and an electricity cable (through a 90mm PVC pipe) to where an island cupboard unit will be. What concerns me is that the entry point into the underfloor conduit is in the fridge alcove floor, and not where it's shown on the house plan, which is about a metre to the right, and where a kitchen cupboard would cover it (and allow much easier future access if needed as I can imagine the current hole being cemented over before the kitchen floor tiles are laid). The builder has been contacted but hasn't replied yet.
Do building regulations allow it to be done like this? (I'm in South Australia.)
