This means that the void between the ceiling of the lower level and the floor of the upper level does not (and will not) have foil around it. To me this does not seem ideal. Is this acceptable? Should I complain about it? It's too late for them to do anything now anyway without removing nearly a whole level of bricks. Also the sarking they are using on the upper level is blue. The one on the lower level is green. Not sure what the difference is. Is it actually providing some insulating effect, or is it just for weather protection? I am in the same situation, would you be able to give some insights in to this? I am in SA 8 17005 Building Standards; Getting It Right!
