Simply put we want to tile around the pool ... and we want to lay the tiles on concrete. A couple of the quotes mention F72 steel with a Y12 deformed bar and 25MPA concrete ... do we need to have steel etc in the concrete? The tile is travertine and is about 12/13mm thick. And if yes, is this the appropriate grade?
I also can't get a straight answer about whether the steel for the tiles outside of the pool coping should be included in the pour for the pool ... some are saying there is a SPASA rule against this ... that there should be an expansion joint between the pool coping and the start of the tiles around the pool and that the steel for the tiling around the pool should not touch the structure of the pool itself ... others are saying it is fine to include the steel around the pool in the one pour as long as you lay it at the same time as the pool as poured ... they are saying the SPASA rule only applies to putting the steel into the pool from the tiles around the edge after the pool has been poured and set ... can anyone pls clarify because I'm confused
