Browse Forums Building Standards; Getting It Right! 1 Feb 15, 2010 11:52 pm Hi I have a question about entering information into the BASIX Assessment Tool for a 3-phase reverse-cycle split ducted airconditioning system: When I go to BASIX > Project details > Energy > Heating & cooling, I am presented with amongst other choices, a choice of: (1) "3-phase airconditioning" or (2) "airconditioning ducting only". Which choice do I select, as their "airconditioning ducting only" does not include any EER (energy ratings) choices? (my first guess was that this relates to pre-installing the ducting for airconditioning at a later date). I rang the BASIX helpline and they were no help at all, but I'm hoping someone here may be able to help. Thank you for your assistance Adam Mech Eng Re: A Question about Ducted Airconditioning in the BASIX Tool 2Feb 16, 2010 10:04 am Welcome Adam! the 2nd option is ducting only for those who choose to buy the motor etc after handover (so no EER values) After 4 years - we're in!
