This is a classic example of why I as a building designer do everything I can to design homes that avoid putting box gutters over living spaces wherever possible and if they are required make sure there are enough outlets. The 2 keys with box gutters is that they be installed so there is no bow in the middle and that there is heaps of capacity in the outlet. Looking at the images it seems far too much capacity in the box gutter to be handles by one little outlet if that's all there is. I hope they sort it all out for you in the end.
