Browse Forums Building Standards; Getting It Right! 1 Jan 06, 2010 10:26 pm I was wondering if anybody else has had the same problem we are having. Has anyone experienced, or heard of, unfired ions from the tiles leaking into the grout, causing a rusty hew to come through in the grout between tiles? I was told it usually happens due to the tiles not being fired correctly? Also that it is typically from tiles imported from places where standards can be a bit suspect at times, like China, Bulgaria etc. Can anyone shed any light on this?
