Building with a major volume builder in Sydney
Brick veneer 2-storey home
Noticed brickwork near windows strange - a new perp is introduced to accommodate the window half brick.
Articulation joint not at the change of height.
Builder says this is not defective, as this is cosmetic.
Can someone shed some light on this?

Also the AJ running up to the underside of the window is non-compliant, AJ's are required to be continuous from DPC to the top of the wall. This includes running along side the window.
