Bathroom waterstop requirements

Hi all. I've recently had my bathroom, laundry and WC renovated by a builder.
The bathroom was completely gutted and rebuilt from scratch. It has hobless shower (fall to waste chased into slab) with frameless glazing, an inset bath, and cavity slider door. The builder provided waterproofing certification for bathroom and laundry.

My reading of the NCC and AS3470 is that such a wet area must have waterstops. I see no evidence of a waterstop at the edges of the shower, or under the bath flanges (either when completed or during the build). There may be one at the door threshold, but it's more likely to just be aluminium tule edging, as it provides no continuity of the waterproofing "tank".

Are there any circumstances under which waterstops would NOT be required in a bathroom? Thanks.
