Thanks for your response. I’m not the owner of the property but actually a neighbour. The owner, her building practitioners and the relevant authorities were all well aware of this non-compliance, well before the Occupancy Permit was issued. However, I have heard that the responsibility for non-compliance enforcement moves from the VBA to the Council after the Occupancy Permit is issued. I don’t know if this comment is correct, so I’m just checking. However, after how it was like “herding cats” dealing with the VBA, dealing directly with Council “might” be an improvement, provided the above comment is correct. Hi, yes, we have the report. The builder has rectified the items on the report and we’re moving forward with the build. Thanks for reaching out 2 13700 So I have read the relevant sections of this report, and what worries me the most are the rectification works which are needed to that steel beam. Frame overhangs are not… 8 31204  Nothing yet, have been distracted this year with work related projects and a new kid but hoping to start building one way or another early next year.
