Browse Forums Building Standards; Getting It Right! 1 Jul 09, 2021 11:50 am Thanks in advance for any advice. I am currently building with a volume builder, they have inserted aluminium storm moulds above my double glazed windows measuring 6.2cm (almost a full brick). Apart from looking aesthetically ordinary, I am also concerned that my thermal benefits of having and paying for double glazed windows will be significantly reduced? 1) Are these storm moulds (especially this size) normal practice 2) Does anyone know of the BCA code for this? I can't find anything? Thanks in advance Re: Window storm moulds 2Jul 09, 2021 11:59 am AJK1 Thanks in advance for any advice.
